Happy St. Patrick's Day! I had some extra doodles that didn't make it into my March Ombré Rain printables set so I thought I'd offer a freebie today. The download link below has a 3x4" and a 4x3" card. Enjoy!

My 18 week New York City Marathon training starts today! There are equal amounts of excitement and dread going through me right now. I, of course, want to do this (or else I wouldn't be) but it's a very large commitment to train for a marathon. I have to make time for my training and do it - even when I'm not really feeling like it.
This will be my fourth marathon and I'm doing things a little differently this year.
I've added CrossFit into my training and will only be running 2 days a week. Most programs recommend running 3-5 days a week. I've learned that my (personal) max is 3 days a week. More than that and I start to hate running. I'm going to see how 2 days a week goes for me. I think it will be good for my body since running wears and tears on me after a while. If I feel like I'm not running enough, I'll just re-evaluate my plan. I'm confident that the CrossFit will be enough for me though... it's crazy.
So, here we go! I plan to a running/training related post each Monday until the race. It might be running specific, or a Project Life insert, or even just a round up of cute Lulu clothes that I want to buy for myself. Follow along here.
June is sticker month in the shop! All month long, when you buy 1 set of stickers, you get another set FREE! No coupon code necessary. Throughout the month, I'll also be sharing different ways to use these fun stickers.
For now, check out my sticker selection here. Be sure to like my Facebook page for other updates and promotions. Thank you!
I illustrated & designed a set 'Handmade by' cards for my mom for Mother's Day this year. (This is actually something she had asked me to make for her.)
She is a super, amazing, fantastic knitter and makes a lot of gifts for family & friends. With these cards, she can write the washing & care instructions on the back and include with the knitted goods. . I, for one, am usually scared to wash her hand-knit creations because I don't want to ruin them. I am sure others feel the same. Problem solved.
I packaged them up in a kraft bag with a custom sticker from my shop. She loved them!
Our weekend in D.C. is finally here! I'm really excited to explore a new city. Our plans include meeting friends for dinner and my half marathon on Sunday. We aren't really "planners" when it comes to vacation, so we're pretty open for adventures. I keep hearing how great of a city Washington D.C. is, I can't wait to find out for myself. Have a great weekend!
It's April...hooray! I'm very excited for this new month. I think it's because it means we're that much closer to springtime.
Also, April is going to be so fun! I have a few fun projects planned – both personal and freelance – plus a few items for the shop. My sister and niece are coming to town for a week and Billy and I are headed to D.C. at the end of the month for my race.
And last but not least, the winner of my giveaway! I asked my husband to pick a random number between 1 and 14 and he picked #9... so congrats Kelli! (I'll send you an email to get your details.)
I made this fun little drawing to lay out my weekend plans. I love to draw, but never know what to draw. I think I put too much pressure on myself to make a "work-of-art" each time I sit down with a pencil and paper. I just need to keep it simple and draw whatever comes to my mind.
I made pesto for the first time this week... SO EASY. Now, I'm obsessed. (I tend to get obsessed with things). I have a few errands to run, several miles to run and lots of fun crafty things on my schedule. Here's to hoping these sunny days will soon turn into warm, sunny days!
Have a great weekend!
