29 Random Things About Me.

1. My fingernails are always painted.
2. I love to sing but have the worst voice ever. Really, I do. Just ask anyone who has ridden in a car with me for an extended period of time.
3. My favorite food will forever be pizza.
4. I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees.
5. I've never owned a car.
6. I always fill out those customer surveys. Even if I'm not getting anything for it.
7. I hate when people ask me what kind of music I listen to because the answer is gangsta rap.
8. Picking the restaurant for a group dinner is pretty much my nightmare.
9. So is folding socks.
10. I never thought I'd ever step foot in the state of Texas, let alone live here. And like it.
11. I got an unassisted triple play during a softball game in 7th grade.
12. I can never decide if I want my hair long or short. 
13. The apps on my phone are organized by color.
14. I prefer the pool over the beach.
15. Boots + leggings are my favorite.
16. Whenever I like a song, I listen to it on repeat until I can't stand the sound of it anymore.
17. I don't like scary movies.
18. My family is the funniest group of people I know.
19. I really like pie.
20. Sometimes I'm not sure when I should stop talking.
21. My face turns red when I laugh really hard.
22. I pour the cream in before my coffee so I don't have to stir it.
23. My favorite movies Mean Girls. 10 years ago it was Malibu's Most Wanted so I'd like to think that I've come a long way.
24. My favorite drink from Starbucks is a Grande Whole Milk Latte.
25. I'm still not used to my married name.
26. Cheese and crackers is my favorite snack.
27. I wish I was a morning person.
28. I would rather spend money on nice jeans I'll wear everyday than fancy dresses I'll only wear once.
29. I'm really glad I started wearing sunblock. I think my future self will be glad too.

 

This list was inspired by Jennifer Wilson's "34 Things I Want You to Know About Me" series on her blog right now. I chose to make mine a list of 29 things, since I'm 29 years old. Such a fun idea, right? I really enjoyed reading this. I have a special place in my heart for gangsta rap- my brother used to make me listen to it when we were growing up. Every now and then I catch my husband off guard by rapping an old song.

Love this idea! I'm definitely going to join the fun. I've lived in Huntsville, AL for just over 7 years now, so it's my adopted hometown. :) My random fact is that I'm not very competitive. I play a VERY friendly game. I have no problem with table talk, and I regularly ask which of two cards someone would prefer I discard.

Can relate to #17 - I don't like scary movies either. I can vividly remember being dragged along to see one of the Friday 13th movies (I've forgotten which one) with a group of friends. I jumped so much in one scene I tipped the drink I was holding right down my front.

Random...I love vanilla more than chocolate in just about everything. I even prefer vanilla shakes even if there are many flavored to choose from :)

This is so cool and really glad you decided to participate. Love your blog! I too do not like scary movies but the random fact I'll share is that I LOVE kids / family movies especially Disney and I always cry in a good movie, even if I'm happy. I know, random and my kids use to look at me strangely, now they know to expect it and check to see when I start, if its sad they'll give me a cuddle... too cute. Just have to share in response to your #11...I broke my face (line drive to third) at my second ever softball practice. Biggest fear when girls were encouraging me to play? You guessed it that I would break my face! They assured me that doesn't happen!
