Project Life 2013 // Week 31

Even after all these weeks and months of doing Project Life, I'm still obsessed with it. I think that the biggest reason is I have a place to put all my photos. Without doing this weekly recap, I wouldn't have a space to keep a picture of our appetizer or of 2 pigeons at the train station. Just an observation I thought I'd share.

I included a few random pieces of our week on the left side. I set a goal for myself at the beginning of the year to try and embellish every pocket. So far it's working but the real challenge has been not making it look too crazy.

My CTA pass expired this week. It's weird when something had has an expiration date so far out actually expires. I got a new one so I put the old one in a pocket.

The wood veneer card on the right is from Two Peas. I had high hopes for myself to do something a little more creative than put it in a pocket, but in the end that's exactly what I did. I slipped a piece of black cardstock behind it to hide the backside of the last week's pocket.

These are Billy's new favorite food so they got their own 4x6" slot. They are reeeeally good. Yum.

Here is the right side. I reused a few photos from my Studio Calico layout in this spread. It's a different album so I don't mind having the same photos twice. 

Nothing too crazy this week. I feel like overall it's fun and colorful and captures pretty much everything that happened!

Fun spread. I know what you mean about your pictures having a place. I take lots of pictures, and in the past, it didn't make sense to put those pictures in with pictures of my daughters. The focus of the album was my girls. Now the focus is the week's events and not just my daughters. I can throw in random pictures and it makes sense.
