I normally work on my pages over the weekends, so being out of town last week left me a little behind. But that's okay, because it was a great time and this album should not get in the way of my life. So with that, week 9!
Here is the left side. Lots of "filler" this week. I took a photo of the Trader Joe's sign and used that in one of the 3x4" slots. We're averaging about 3 episodes of Friday Night Lights a night so it deserved it's own 4x6" pocket.
I decided to dress up my date card with some washi tape flags. Mixing washi tape patterns & colors is one of my favorite things to do. (I'm serious)
Really no need to explain the photo on the left – the caption pretty much sums it up. I rubbed the thickers onto a Neon Pink ink pad to give them some oomph. As I was doing it, I thought I was just ruining them, but once it dried the shade of pink was actually really nice. Not too neon but still bright. The right pocket holds some clothing tags from my Lululemon shopping spree.
This week was also Week in the Life. I added a We R Memory Keepers page protector in between my pages to hold 18 4x4" photos from my day.
Note: The WRMK plastic is a smidge wider than the Becky Higgins brand. It doesn't bother me but just an FYI if you like the pages to be the same size.
I also added an 8x10" page behind that to hold the details of my day. (Also, the text in this post). I pasted the text into Photoshop and printed onto a sheet of patterned paper.
On the back side is an enlarged photo of Billy & me. I really love this picture. It's really kind of random, but perfectly descibes our life – TV, crafts, dinner and little messes. I really think that in a year, 5 years, etc. I will really be glad I printed this picture. I hope that we're still doing things like this together. Except that maybe our maid will clean up the messes. ;)
And the right side of week 9. All these little, life details make me so happy.
I inserted on of my hand-stitched amerpersands this week. really love the little bit of dimension it adds to the page. I can't wait to keep putting more and more color combinations together.
And just for fun, here is the spread with out the Day in the Life inserts.
I've got some work to do on Weeks 10 & 11. Going on vacation results in hundreds of photos to sort through...which is an awesome problem to have.

Love your 'yuck' word on the snowy pic; made me smile. Plus, that snow looks much worse than the snow we've had in England so I will no longer complain that it is meant to be spring here hehe!
