Week 29! Last weekend, Billy was out of town and I was able to get 3 weeks done. Only a couple more to go and I'm back on track.
Here is the left side. Lots of aqua. I can't get enough of it these days. It's my go-to.
Here are all the 3x4" cards. I love this size.
I tried to write directly onto the aqua Elle's Studio card. The original card was solid aqua and I tried to write directly on it. It looked terrible so I decided to just cut out the words part and stick it on some Dear Lizzy paper. I like it much more this way so I'm kind of glad I messed up!
Here is the right side. As usual, a random mix of our everyday life.
I bought this stamp set from Elle's studio because I loved the simple letters and the cute star and arrow doodles in the set. I rarely buy stamps but I can already tell I will get a lot of use out of it.
Oh, and I can't overlook how random and hilarious this little story is. I am so thankful to have a place to put it. When I was working on this, I texted a photo to Billy, who then shared it with his family and everyone had another laugh about it. I have a feeling we'll laugh about it everytime we see it. Without this album I'm sure we would have forgotten all about this gem.
I had an empty 4x6" slot so I decided to try something a little different. I used a piece of the green frame paper from the Amy Tangerine Yes, Please 6x6" paper pad. I cut out the middle of the squares with an exacto knife and put some scrap paper behind it. I think it looks cute, adds some color and is a good way to use up all the scraps I save.
So, that's my week! I'll have more spreads to share next week. Have a great weekend, everybody!
