It's been a slow week around here. I'm working away on a couple fun project that I'll share very soon. But for now, here's week 27. It's also the week of the Fourth so my color scheme has touches of red, white and blue in it. Plus a whole lot of yellow!
Here's the left side. Very random.
Project Life is perfect for randomness like buying a gigantic lemon. I journaled around the lemon and sunglasses with an American Crafts 03 Precision Pen.
I added some simple touches to all my pockets this week to help tie everything together. On the left you can see I'm still using up circle punches from this layout. They are perfect little journaling spots. On the right I added a Studio Calico wood veneer heart to a photo of Billy and me. I would like 5 more packs of those little hearts. So cute!
Pretty soon my pages will include a lot of running pictures so I made sure to add a note that this is the week marathon training started. I have my minibook as well but there's obviously going to be some crossover.
Here's the right side. Lots of journaling over here.
We had a barbeque rib feast on the fourth of July. I looooove ribs. I can't believe this is the first time we've made them ourselves.
We played tennis on our day off! It was super fun. Playing tennis is one of those things we've always talked about doing, and on this day, we actually did. We haven't been back since but we really should go again. It was so fun!
