On February 10th, Billy and I finally threw out our Christmas tree. As we dragged the tree down the hall to the elevator, Billy said, "I hope no one sees us." We were a little embarassed.
We put the tree next to the dumpster on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Monday morning Billy left for work before me and found it inside the garage again. I left for work about an hour later and saw our tree on top of a different set of dumpsters. It seemed to be following us. Turns out, we just put it near the wrong set of garbage cans.
Our living room seems so much bigger now that it's gone. We live in a very tiny condo so having a 6 foot tree in the room really takes up a lot of valuable living space.
I say this now, but maybe next year we'll skip the tree...
